Minimum requirements for candidates
Age and language
There are no strict age restrictions, but the recommended age for registering for training is from 18 to 40 years inclusive.
Knowledge of spoken English or a desire to learn it to the Intermediate – Upper Intermediate level.
Health
Absence of chronic diseases, including diabetes. No tattoos, piercings, scars or burns on visible parts of the body (check separately).
Personal qualities
Each steward must strictly observe duties and discipline while working. Optimism, polite and courteous manner of communication, neat appearance, psychological readiness to work for a long time away from home (with a contract period of 6-8 months) are also necessary for working on a cruise ship.
Tolerance
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and be kind to others
Legality
No refusals to obtain a visa to enter the USA and Eurozone countries before the start of studies, no criminal record.
